About Us
Belcavallo Farm is conveniently located 10 minutes west of I-55 in Terry, MS. Located on 40 acres, behind a gated entrance, our farm consists of large, lush pastures, a 85' X 165' covered arena with sprinkler system, lights, and sand-rubber footing, a 100'x200' sand-rubber footing outdoor arena, and bridle path.
At Belcavallo Farm, we are focused on creating a respectful, loving, and trusting relationship between the rider and horse. Patient techniques are emphasized, leading to quality horsemanship and ownership. We have several horses that have been rehabilitated from other farms, race tracks, and more.
Owner/manager: Carolyn Miele, known as Carrie, has over 25 years of experience caring for multiple horses of different breeds and disciplines. In addition to her hands-on experience, she also possesses a bachelor's degree in Nursing, a certificate in Equine Operations, and a certificate in Equine Sports Massage Therapy. Carrie has owned/managed her own equine facility since 2005 and currently lives on site with her husband Lucio, a fellow enthusiastic equestrian.
Lucio and Carrie moved to Mississippi from the Chicago area, where they owned and managed a horse farm. They enjoy working with, training, and riding their horses, most of which are rescues that have been rehabilitated.
